Eye has not seen,   nor ear heard,   nor has entered into the heart of man   (We can’t even imagine it)   the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.   (1 Corinthians  2:9)

I almost can’t wait,   you know?   I have a very good friend who went home to be with the Lord this week,   He is the guest of honor at a great party.   And he is getting all those awesome presents that the Lord has had stored up for him.
My heart goes out to his wife because she is going to miss him terribly.   But that will only be until she sees him again.   I feel sad for myself and all of his friends,   and there are a bunch of us.   Because we are also going to miss him,   A lot.   You could be feeling like you wanted to cry,   and he could make you…

They answered and said to him,   You were completely born in sins,  (Yes,  just like them)  and are you teaching us?   And they cast him out.
(They excommunicated him.  Read what Jesus does when He finds out)
Jesus heard that they had cast him out;  (So He went looking for him)  and when He had found him,   He said to him,   do you believe in the Son of God?
He answered and said,   Who is He,   Lord,   that I may believe in Him?
And Jesus said to him,   YOU HAVE BOTH SEEN HIM AND IT IS HE WHO IS TALKING TO YOU.   Then he said,   LORD,   I BELIEVE!   And he worshiped Him.
And Jesus said,   For judgement,  I have come into this world,   that those who do not see may see,   and that those who see may be made blind.
Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words,   and said to Him,   Are we blind also?   Jesus said to them,   if you were blind,   you would have no sin;   but now you say,   We see.    Therefore your sin remains.   (John 9:34-41)

Isn’t it wonderful how the Lord went and found this young man?   When Jesus opens our eyes to the darkness were in.   And we realize through that new sight that He has given us,   our need for Him.   HE NEVER LEAVES US.   We receive the gift of His Holy Spirit,   and He is with us forever.   This young man found out,   just like we find out.    What can separate us from the Love of God which is in His Son our Savior Jesus Christ?   NOTHING!
And were told that in Romans 8:39
I love that song,   He opens the eyes of the blind,   there’s no one like Him,   none like Him.   Because I was blind but now I see,   I was lost,   but He found me.
How about you,   have your eyes been opened?   Can you see Him?    I hope so,   and so does He.   Jesus is calling,   and He knows who you are.   He knows all about you,   everything you’ve ever done,   AND HE DOESN’T CARE.
Jesus is calling,   and He knows your name.
Jesus loves you and so do I,   my name is Irv.

Here comes part two of chapter nine in the gospel of John.   You will fall in love with this young man who had been blind,  the courage he shows and the way he stands up to the Pharisees,   Jesus certainly did.

They brought him who formerly was blind to the Pharisees.   Now it was a sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes.   Then the Pharisees also asked him again how he had received his sight.   He said to them,   He put clay on my eyes,   and I washed,   and I see.
Therefore some of the Pharisees said,   This Man is not from God,   because He does not keep the Sabbath.   Others said,   How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?   And there was a division among them.
They said to the blind man again,   What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?   He said,   He is a prophet.
But the Jews did not believe concerning him,   that he had been blind and received his sight,   until they called the parents of him who had received his sight.
(His parents were scared to death,   the Sanhedrin had already said they would ex-communicate,   anyone who said anything good about Jesus.   And to be ex-communicated in Jerusalem,   and Israel at that time was very bad.   No one,   I mean NO ONE would even talk to you.  You couldn’t do any business,   you couldn’t make a living.)
And they asked them,   saying,   Is this your son,   who you say was born blind?   How then does he see now?   His parents answered them and said,   We know this is our son,   and that he was born blind;   but by what means he now sees we do not know,   or who opened his eyes we do not know.   (They certainly weren’t going to say anything about Jesus.   They put it right back on their son’s head.)   He is of age;   ask him.   He will speak for himself.   His parents said these things because they feared the Sanhedrin,   for they had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ,   he would be put out of the synagogue.   Therefore his parents said,   he is of age,   ask him.
So they again called the man who had been blind,   and said to him,   Give God the glory!   We know that this man is a sinner.   (I love what he says back to them)
He answered and said,   Whether He is a sinner or not I don’t know.   One thing I know:   that though I was blind,   NOW I SEE.
Then they said to him again,    What did He do to you?   How did He open your eyes?
He answered them,   I told you already,   and you did not listen.   Why do you want to hear it again?   Do you also want to become His disciples?   (I love his courage)
Then they reviled him and said,   You are His disciple,   but we are Moses disciples.   We know that God spoke to Moses;   as for this FELLOW,   we do not know where He is from.
The man answered and said to them,   Why,   this is a marvelous thing,   that you do not know where He is from;   yet He opened my eyes!   (This is getting good)   Now we know that God does not hear sinners,   but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will,   He hears them.   Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind.   If this Man were not from God,   HE COULD DO NOTHING.
(John 9:13-33)

He puts the truth right in front of them,   doesn’t he?   Blind all his life,   no education at all.   Where does this wisdom come from?   You are going to have to wait until tomorrow to find out what happens next.   Unless you want to read it yourself?   You will be able to see the love of our Savior showed to this young man.   Jesus came to open the eyes of the blind,   and I am so thankful that He did.   Because I was one of the blind.   How about you?
Jesus loves you and so do I,   my name is Irv.

I love chapter nine in the gospel of John.  It is almost exclusively about the young blind man that Jesus heals of His blindness.  It has a lot in it about the self-righteousness of the religious leaders and others.   And how they judged this simple young man that Jesus healed of his blindness.  And how he fearlessly spoke truth to them,  even knowing the consequences of doing this.   Because Jesus not only healed him of his physical blindness,   He also healed him of his spiritual blindness.
So I’m going to share it with you,  the whole chapter.

Now as Jesus passed by,   He saw a man who was blind from birth.   And His disciples asked Him,   saying,   Rabbi,   who sinned,   this man or his parents,   that he was born blind?
Jesus answered,   Neither this man nor his parents sinned,   but this is so the works of God could be revealed in him.   I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day;   the night is coming when no one can work.   AS LONG AS I AM IN THE WORLD I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
When He had said these things,   He spit on the ground and made clay with the saliva;   and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay.   And He said to him,   Go,   wash in the pool of Siloam.   So he went and washed,   and came back seeing.
Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said,   Is this not he who sat and begged?   Some said,   This is he.   Others said,   He is like him.
He said,   I am he.
Therefore they said to him,   How were your eyes opened?   He answered and said,   A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me,   Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.   So I went and washed,   and I received sight.
Then they said to him,   Where is He?   He said,   I don’t know.
(John 9:1-12)

I’ will share some more of this wonderful word with you later.   The next part is where he is brought in front of the Sanhedrin,   they were the religious leaders and the rulers of Israel at this time.    If they excommunicated you,   you were completely shunned by everyone.    You couldn’t do business anywhere,   you weren’t even allowed to beg.
This is so much more than just a story of a blind young man being healed by Jesus.
Because I was blind,   and Jesus opened my eyes to the darkness that I was in.
He is still opening the eyes of the blind.   Has He opened your eyes,   or are you still blind.
Remember,   you are loved.   But in order to receive that love,   your eyes have to be opened.
I am looking forward to sharing the rest of this chapter with you.   I really love this kid who had been blind.
Jesus loves you and so do I,   my name is Irv.

Jesus is coming,  so be prepared.   Yes,   Jesus is coming.  And just like he did seven hundred years before Jesus was even born,   Isaiah can tell you about it a lot better than me.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness:  Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make straight in the desert A highway for our God.   Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low;   The crooked places will be made straight And the rough places smooth;
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed,   AND ALL FLESH SHALL SEE IT TOGETHER;   FOR THE MOUTH OF THE LORD HAS SPOKEN.   (Isaiah 40:3-5)

Just like Jesus came two thousand years ago,   He is coming again.   Only this time He is coming as the King.   And this time will be the last time.
So I hope you are ready.   Prepare your hearts,   make yourselves ready and pray for those who don’t know Him.   Because Jesus is coming.
Shout it out loud,   shout it from the mountains,   shout it with joy in your hearts.
Shout it out,   Jesus is coming.
Jesus loves you and so do I,   my name is Irv.

To create,   to make something,   where there was nothing.   Like the act of creation.

In the beginning,   God created the heavens and the earth.   The earth was without form,   and void;  (There was nothing)   and darkness was on the face of the deep.   And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.   (Yes the Holy Spirit was there at the creation,   and so was Jesus.  Colossians  1:16)
Then God said,   Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters,   and let it divide the waters from the waters.   (Genesis 1-2,6,7)

Now I want you to think about this,   the firmament is the first heaven,   the sky.   The earth hadn’t been created yet,   it was all water.
The Lord is still into creating things.  He helped me to create this blog,   but any glitches in it are of course mine.   He also created a new…

I read on a post,   that death was only a change of address.
It is a great deal more than that.      Death is inevitable,   but if we have Jesus Christ as our Savior,    then what comes after will be magnificent.   More magnificent than we can even imagine.
But on the other side of the coin.   If we don’t have Jesus as our Savior,   then what comes after is horrible,   more horrible than we could ever imagine.
So why would you choose horrible when you can choose magnificent?   Jesus,   He is the only way to magnificent.

Alas,  sinful nation,  a people laden with iniquity,  A brood of evildoers,  Children who are corrupters!  They have forsaken the Lord,  They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel,  They have turned away backward.
Strangers devour your land in your presence;  And it is desolate,  as overthrown by strangers.  Unless the Lord of host had left us a very small remnant,  We would have become like Sodom,  We would have been made like Gomorrah.  Hear the word of the Lord,  you rulers of Sodom;  Give ear to the law of our God,  you people of Gomorrah.
When you spread out your hands,  I will hide My eyes from you;  Even though you make many prayers,  I WILL NOT HEAR.  YOUR HANDS ARE FULL OF BLOOD.
wash yourselves,  make yourselves clean;  Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.  CEASE TO DO EVIL.  Learn to do…

LOVE, do you?

But the end of all things is at hand;  therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.  And above all things have fervent love for one another,   for love will cover a multitude of sins.   Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.   As each one has received a gift,   minister it to one another,   as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
(1 Peter 4:7-10)

I hope you know how much you are loved,   and I hope you’re loving others.
